About Trincomali Community Arts Council In January, 2000, 160 people interested in cultural life of the Southern Gulf Islands joined together to form the Trincomali Community Arts Council. The first Annual General Meeting of the society took place on Mayne Island in March, 2000. A Board of Directors was elected consisting of: two representatives each from Galiano, Mayne and North pender Islands one each from South Pender and Saturna Islands. A Constitution and Bylaws were adopted and duly registered with the Registrar of Societies. The Board of Directors normally meets once a month on the BC Ferry. The Society holds its Annual General Meetings in the spring on a different island each year. Membership dues are $15 a year. Membership year is January 1st to December 31st.
